MMA Renews MoU with 510 Army Base Workshop, Meerut to Strengthen Civil–Military Collaboration

Meerut Management Association (MMA) and 510 Army Base Workshop (ABW), Meerut, further strengthened their collaborative partnership through the renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27th March 2026. This renewal marks a significant step in deepening civil–military synergy and fostering innovation, building upon a successful association established over the past year.

The renewed MoU aims to promote indigenous component development by local entrepreneurs, encourage industry-aligned automation, and enhance cooperation under the Skill India initiative. A key highlight of the agreement is the provision of annual internship opportunities for 100 students from MMA’s Student Chapter at 510 Army Base Workshop, offering valuable hands-on exposure to real-world industrial and defence manufacturing processes.

The MoU was formally signed by Brigadier Amit Dixit, Commandant, 510 ABW, and Shri S. P. Singh, President, MMA, in the esteemed presence of Major General Lalit Kapoor (VSM), Major General Pankaj Kaushik, and other distinguished dignitaries.

This partnership reflects MMA’s continued commitment to bridging the gap between academia, industry, and defence establishments, thereby contributing to nation-building and skill development.
