Meerut Management Association, an affiliation of AIMA, is a progressive organization which endeavors to take itself to higher levels. This has even been recognized by the AIMA who awarded MMA the BEST EMERGING LMA in the year 2012. Our newly revamped website provides links to the AIMA and the other LMAs of AIMA. Every year the new Councils hope to emulate its predecessors in abiding by the progressive nature of the institution and strive for even greater achievements.

AGENDA FOR THE FORTHCOMING YEAR:
One of the main targets for the new team is the construction of a new auditorium of approximately 4000sq feet area & with a seating capacity of 300-400 people at the Management House. We have received all the required clearances from various government departments and as soon as the final map is approved by the MDA, the construction would commence.
This year, the new council, recognizing the power of youth, has given them more responsibilities. We hope to receive fresh ideas from younger members & look forward to a more active participation by them in the organization.
Another one of our main targets is Women Empowerment. Keeping this in mind we have now appointed 3 women in our Council. An event, for the Women Achievers of Meerut is also being planned.
Other events being planned for the forthcoming year are:

• A talk on Waste Management & Environment Beautification.
• A Factory visit to the Hero Honda Plant at Haridwar.
• A program on Cyber Security.
• Sultan Singh Memorial Lecture, Dayal Debate for students of Management Colleges
• Dr. B.Devdutt Award for Professional Excellence
• Our Annual Convention

Our Annual Convention is the biggest Event of the Year, held in the third week of February .It is put together by our teams who put in an exceptional amount of work for its success. In the past, it has been graced by the presence of various eminent and distinguished personalities like: Sh. N Vittal(C.V.C), Dr. Kiran Bedi, Sh. Arun Seth(British Telecom), Sh. S.S.Sharma (Dir. Gen. N.P.C.), Dr. Pritam Singh(Dir. I.I.M ,Lucknow), Prof. Habibur Rehman(Former V.C., Agra University), Sh. R.C.Bhargawa( former M.D. ,Maruti Udyog) and various others.

This year MMA is also looking forward to organizing more family inclusive programs.

MMA as a part of its social initiative, undertakes various responsibilities to contribute to the society. For this it organizes the Tree Plantation drive in the city. It has, in the past, also been associated with the drive for ‘Hamara Meerut Sundar Meerut’, a beautification program for the city. MMA also regularly contributes to various social organizations like Deaf and Dumb School, old age homes and many others.

This year we expect all council members to take more initiatives and responsibilities to achieve maximum objectives set before us. MMA would also be looking forward to a more active participation from our sleeping members. To attract the attention of these inactive members we organized a very vibrant and joyful Diwali get together, which was highly appreciated by all its attendees.
