Meerut Management Association organized a Joint activity “A Workshop on Exports For MSME’s” with Indian Industries Association (IIA) at IIA Bhawan, Mohkampur, Meerut. Mr. Tarun Bansal Director of Prizm International Delhi and Mr. Raj Kishore Raj , Regional Head Forex of ICICI Bank were the key speakers. Mr. Tarun Bansal explained about the policies and proceedings during exports where as Mr. Raj Kishore Raj explained about convertibility of foreign currency into Indian Currency and vice-versa.
A Combined activity was held with Abha Manav Mandir on inauguration of their Solar system by Mr. Alok Sinha, Commissioner, Meerut Mandal. Members of MMA took part in making the event successful and had a very interesting and interactive session with the senior citizens living at this Old Age Home.
The 28th Annual Convention was held at IIA Bhawan, Mohkampur, Meerut. The Chief Guest for this years Convention was Maj.General Sunil Yadav, GOC Sub Area, Paschim Uttar Pradesh.

The Flagship event of MMA was attended by over 250 delegates including members, guests, and students of Engineering and Management Institutes. The program was conducted in two sessions.

This Year, The Annual Dayal Debate was an excellent event. 21 Teams took part from various renowned colleges. The topic for debate was “The Dictatorial Form of Governance is Good for India”. We had an excellent debate on the topic. The jury members were Dr. Bhavesh Gupta, Mr. R.D.Gautam, Director Behsuma, Mrs. Ritu Goel, a renowned Physics teacher and Mr. R.K.Agarwal, Sr.Vice President, Dayal Fertilizers (P) Ltd. Meerut.
The running Trophy was given to Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology, Meerut.
The First, Second and 3rd prizes were given as follows:
First Prize : Miss Prateeksha Kaul of MIET, Meerut
Second Prize : Mr. Rohit Chiprana of Vidya School of Creative Studies, Meerut
Third Prize : Mr. Ujjawal Sharma of MIET, Meerut
The preparation, Co-ordination and anchoring of the debate was done by Mr. Ankit Singhal and was a huge success.
An Industrial visit to ALPS industry was arranged on 7th Feb 2015. We were briefed by HR Manager about the organization, factory, machineries lay out and the safety precaution to be adhered in the factory premises. ALPS industry is the manufacturer of various kinds of decorative cloths, bed cushions, automobile seats etc. We were taken around the factory in groups and were explained the complete process of manufacturing of different type of fibers. Everyone enjoyed by seeing various processes starting from thread weaving up and the processes involved in manufacturing of these cloths, knitting, warping, weaving, cutting, packing defect analysis by checking each length of the manufactured cloth. We were explained about coloring/ dyeing, and how to analyze and make exact color in designed clothes.
