This award was instituted for the first time in MMA in 2012 in the memory of Late Dr. B. Devdutt, husband of Dr. Poonam Devdutt. Late Dr. B. Devdutt was a noted Gynecologist and Professor of Gynecology at Meerut Medical College.

This year’s award was given to Mr. Abhay Kumar, M.D. Dayal Fertilizers (P) Ltd.Meerut.

Brig. S.K.Verma, Deputy General- Commanding Officer- Paschim U.P. Sub Area was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He highlighted the management in the Army.

Mr. Vibhor Agarwal & Mr. Kamal Anand were the Event Chairman.

MMA combined the Independence Day Celebration with its social responsibility by Planting  trees at Prathmik Madhyamik Vidhalaya-Sivaya and also donated 2 Almirah for the school.

MMA also organized Bhumi Pujan to mark the beginning of construction of its Auditorium. Flag was hoisted by Mr.M P.Tyagi, immediate former president. Bhumi Pujan was carried out by Mr. Rajeev Jain (President MMA), Mr. Sanjeev Jain (Chairman Building Committee & Mr. Yogesh Garg (Co-Chairman Building  Committee)

An annual event of MMA recognizes the achievement by eminent Entrepreneurs of Meerut in the field of Life Time Achievement/ Successful Entrepreneur and Social Entrepreneur. This  year the awards were given to the following Entrepreneurs.

Shri S.K.Jain—Life Time Achievement Award – (Chairman Vidya Prakashan Mandir Ltd.)

Shri Himanshu Shekhar—Successful Entrepreneur – ( Director, Manohar Lal Sarraf & Sons)

Dr. Anil Bansal—Social Entrepreneur – (Chairman, Disha School for Mentally Challenged & Spastic Children)

Shri Jitendra Kumar—Guest of Honor – (ICAI and Senior member of MMA)

Capt. V.K.Gupta  was the event  chairman of the program.

Mr. Akhil Prasad, who has achieved great height in his career, discussed what is required to make a city a Preferred Business Destination and suggested a few point to initiate steps  for Meerut in this direction. The program was coordinated by Ms. Priyanka Jain.

MMA recognized the achievement of some special women of Meerut. These women have

made Meerut proud of them. Mr. Navdeep Rinwa, D.M.Meerut was the Chief guest of the

ceremony and Ms. Jean Thomas was Guest of Honor. Ms. Sona Anand and Ms. Anusha
